The serpent has been a long recognized symbol of life, death and rebirth. Throughout history and in many cultures, it has portrayed a dual expression of both good and evil.. It has come to represent healing transformation and immortality due to its ability to shed its skin and rejuvenate.

The caduceus is seen as a powerful symbol of healing in the medical world and yet these sacred creatures are still feared and misunderstood.

Kwali explores the concept of the serpent as the symbol of the kundalini life force energy and how the physical presence of a snake can confront or enhance the individual’s relationship to his or her own spirituality.
